Post Blue Rune of Superior Vigor? Confused!

Okay, now I rarely, very rarely get superior vigor runes from golden armor pieces, but aren't they supposed to be golden when you salvage them? Someone offered to trade me a +50HP rune for my amulet of the mists and while the rune had the right text and hitpoint amount, the text was in blue rather than gold.

It's been a long time since I've seen a rune of superior vigor outside of armor, and I can't really think straight right now, so basically my question is: Was that a clever scammer that I avoided or was he carrying a standard or perhaps bugged rune?

Thanks!

Sorry, didn't think of taking a screenshot.

I just cancelled as fast as I could to be safe.

those are pretty rare now. if you had done that trade, you would've gotten an extremely good deal.

Any runes that existed prior the the icon changes were never changed. I still have countless major vigors and sup absorptions with minor icons.

Being blue doesn't make them any more expensive then the gold ones. You can't even sell the blues ones to the merchant.

umm?? what do you mean people pay alot for them? its just a really really really really old sup vig rune. It has no value greater than any other sup vigor rune. Its not like a weapon that was discontinued or nerfed.

lol, you didn't have to cancel as fast as you could to be safe. Just as long as you don't hit accept after you submit then you will be safe. Both you and the other person has to hit accept in order to trade so if he just hit accept and you didn't then you will be fine.

Hmm, perhaps Herbalizer will see this thread and answer.

People will pay a lot of money for "bling bling" items that will impress others. (Ferrari, Diamond Necklace, Obsidian Armor)

People will pay a lot of money to get a better quality product. (Top of line TVs, Nice Restaurant, 5 Star Hotels, Very fast highly recommended and trusted runner)

People will also pay a lot of money to get "one-of-a-kind" items that otherwise hold no value. (Micky Mantle Rookie Baseball Card in mint condition, Pennies with minting errors on them, Ghostly Hero minipets, Discontinued Long Swords with discontinued mods)

Unless there's been some buff to Sup Vigor that I missed, it only gives +50

on another side note, where do people find room to keep all that vintage crap that has no use? My storage/characters are all pretty full...
